25 Sep UK Empties Collector Expands Warehouse
Milton Keynes-based Ink and Toner Recycling Ltd. has purchased a 7,000 square foot warehouse next to its current 10,000 square foot base, with 10 members of staff joining the company next month.
Co-founder Dan Gould told The Recycler that the business may in the future set up a remanufacturing facility, expand into Europe and buy out other businesses in its efforts to become the market leader in the safe disposal and recovery of printer cartridges and consumables.
The enterprise’s workload is 300 percent month-on-month, with the operation processing between 65,000 and 70,000 toner cartridges a month, and between 45,000 and 50,000 inkjets a month. It currently employs 38, growing from 16 in January 2013, when it acquired Return A Toner.
It was formed in October 2012 by Gould and Mohamed Dhanji, and currently has four directors. The Recycler featured a profile about the company in Issue 260.
